Market Island, the largest food hall in the Middle East, has officially opened at Dubai Festival City Mall. Spanning 70,000 square feet, the licensed venue houses over 50 food outlets and restaurants, offering a diverse range of international cuisines. Located on the north side of the mall’s ground floor, it features more than 3,500 seats, dedicated restaurant spaces, bars, and lounges.

The food hall introduces several globally recognized brands to Dubai, including Pasta Art, serving homemade Italian pasta, and Nikkei Sushi, a Japanese concept by renowned chef Roberto Segura. Other highlights include Gelato Ado, offering artisanal Italian gelato, and John Dory, a Belarusian seafood brand with a Mediterranean touch. In addition to these new names, Market Island also features Dubai favorites such as Chef Ayad, Allo Beirut, Scarlet’s Bakery, and Homer Lobster.

Beyond its extensive dining options, Market Island is designed as a tourism and leisure destination. Visitors can enjoy live entertainment, including performances and DJ sets by regional artists, held from Friday to Sunday each week. The venue also plans to host weekend markets, workshops, and interactive events, further enhancing Dubai Festival City’s reputation as a vibrant social hub.
