A New York hospitality icon is being reimagined into just 40 residences in DIFC, becoming one of the city’s most exclusive new addresses. With nearly a century of history, The Carlyle is expanding beyond New York for the first time. Its legacy and refined aesthetic will now take shape in Dubai as The Carlyle Residences.

Rather than opening as a hotel, the brand will unveil a collection of 40 private residences within a new 32-storey mixed-use tower in DIFC. These two- to five-bedroom homes will reinterpret The Carlyle’s storied heritage through elevated design and dedicated service. Each residence will offer expansive views across the DIFC skyline, creating a sense of sophistication and retreat.

The interiors have been crafted by designer Tristan Auer, known for work on iconic properties like Carlton Cannes and Hôtel de Crillon. His approach blends muted grandeur with veined marble, bronze accents, and hand-finished woods. A six-bedroom duplex penthouse will crown the development, featuring a private wellness floor with a marble pool, spa, and gym—alongside access to exclusive amenities including an infinity pool, shaded daybeds, a modern fitness studio, a greenery-framed pool bar, and a private dining room.
