The Nol card is a smart payment system widely used across Dubai for accessing public transportation, including the metro, buses, trams, and marine transport. In addition to commuting, it can be used for parking payments directly at meters, offering convenience when mobile signals are weak or SMS services fail. Several restaurants and cafes across the city such as Burger King, London Dairy, and Gloria Jean’s Coffee also accept Nol as a form of payment.
Beyond daily use, certain Nol card types come with added perks. The Nol Tarhal card, introduced by the RTA in 2024, grants access to more than 100 discounts at restaurants, retail outlets, and hotels, with offers ranging from 10% to 50%. The card, which costs AED 200, can be purchased at Dubai International Airport, Zoom stores, and Yana Tour Travel offices.
For added security, the Nol personal (blue) card allows users to recover their balance if the card is lost or stolen. This card is valid for five years and available to students, senior citizens, and people of determination, including visitors. It provides both travel access and peace of mind for eligible users.
