Dubai is set to welcome a new Temaki bar, a collaboration between Neha Mishra, the chef behind Kinoya, and Panchali Mahendra of Atelier House Hospitality, known for 11 Woodfire, Mohalla, and Gerbou. Inspired by a casual DIY temaki night at home, the duo decided to bring an immersive, made-to-order hand roll experience to the city. The concept, set to launch in late 2025, will introduce a fresh take on Japanese dining.

Beyond its expertly crafted temakis, the venue will feature a hidden speakeasy bar, offering a curated selection of mixed drinks. This addition will create an intimate setting for those who enjoy discovering exclusive, secret spots. With a focus on high-quality ingredients and artisanal techniques, the new dining destination aims to redefine interactive Japanese cuisine in Dubai.

This project marks a new chapter in Mishra’s culinary career, standing as an independent concept separate from Kinoya but infused with her signature style. Mahendra sees this as an opportunity to introduce an engaging, social dining experience to the city. With an anticipated opening around September 2025, the venue is set to make a lasting impact on Dubai’s growing Japanese food scene.
