Dubai Mall, located in Downtown Dubai, renowned as the world’s most visited destination, is set for a grand AED 1.5 billion expansion by Emaar Properties, its developer. This expansion will introduce 240 new luxury stores and dining options.

In 2023, Dubai Mall achieved a milestone as the most visited place globally, welcoming 105 million visitors, marking a notable 19% increase from the previous year.

Since its inauguration in 2008, Dubai Mall has been the epitome of modern retail and leisure in Dubai. Spanning 1.2 million square metres, it ranks as the world’s second-largest shopping complex, boasting over 1,200 retail outlets, including flagship stores like Bloomingdale’s, alongside more than 200 international dining venues.

Although the estimated completion date has not been announced yet, the upcoming expansion will certainly enhance Dubai Mall’s reputation as a global icon of retail excellence.
