Al Mamzar Beach is undergoing a major transformation as part of a AED 400 million development plan, set to be completed by the end of 2025. The project will introduce a women-only beach, night swimming, and 1,000 meters of running, walking, and cycling paths linking Al Mamzar Creek Beach and Al Mamzar Park. This revamp is part of the second phase of the Al Mamzar Beach Development Project, which also includes new green spaces and enhanced facilities.

The women-only beach will feature night swimming capabilities and include a sports club, commercial services, and children’s play areas. Additionally, the development will include a 2,000-square-meter skateboarding area, more play zones for children, as well as upgraded amenities like bathrooms, beach lounges, and services for people of determination. The corniche will also be improved with basic facilities such as toilets, showers, and changing rooms.

Bader Anwahi, CEO of the Public Facilities Agency at Dubai Municipality, emphasized that this project aims to enhance Dubai’s global appeal as a top tourist destination. He stated that the development will combine sustainable infrastructure with modern design to elevate the city’s beachfront and tourism offerings. The first phase, which includes a floating pedestrian bridge, is already 45% complete, marking significant progress in transforming Al Mamzar Beach into a premier destination.
