1. Al Mamzar Beach Park

Al Mamzar Beach Park is an expansive area that includes five beaches, three pools, lawns, walking and cycle paths and kids’ playing areas. There are barbeque and picnic areas and the option to rent air-conditioned chalets. Food kiosks are dotted throughout the beach park.
2. Dubai Creek Park

Dubai Creek Park faces out towards Dubai Creek and is the second-largest park in the city. Dubai Creek Park is also home to the Dubai Dolphinarium and Children’s City indoor ‘edutainment’ centre. Visitors can enjoy the botanical gardens, kids’ play areas, and paved promenades. Looking to the Creek, there are spectacular sunsets and dhow boat views. There are several barbecue and picnic spots throughout the park. Creek Park has been developed with those with special needs (referred to as People of Determination in the UAE) in mind.
3. Zabeel Park

Zabeel Park is home to top tourist attraction, the Dubai Frame. Zabeel Park features barbecue and picnic areas as well as food kiosks and boat rides. This park is ideal for sports and includes a pedestrian path, running track and fitness centre. There’s also cricket, skating, skateboarding, a BMX track, and mini gold on offer there. Zabeel Park is one of the first technology-driven green spaces in the region. Keep your eyes out for the seasonal flea markets regularly held there.
4. Mushrif Park

Mushrif Park is ideal for those that are active and love nature. Here visitors can bird-watch and experience the Mushrif National Park. Regional bird species including Arabian babblers, pallid scops owls, yellow-throated sparrows and Rufous-tailed robins are found here. Dine at the barbecue areas, picnic spots or at the on-site restaurants. Stay active in the swimming pools or on the bicycle tracks, mountain biking trails and the football field. Mushrif Park is also home to the tree-top adventure course, Aventura.
5. Safa Park

Set in the middle of the city next to the Dubai Canal, Safa Park was Dubai’s first public park, created in 1975. Here you can enjoy the impressive skyline and Burj Khalifa views. Head here for a picnic, to read under the trees or jog around the tracks. There are permanent barbecues set up around the park.
