Noren Dubai has recently opened in Jumeirah Lakes Towers, bringing a new independent Japanese dining concept to the neighbourhood. The restaurant was founded by former Zuma leaders Ilir Caushi and Pawel Kazanowski, who spent more than 15 years shaping the brand internationally. Their first independent venture focuses on creative Japanese cooking in a relaxed, contemporary setting.

The menu moves between raw dishes, sushi and grilled plates, with highlights including chutoro with jalapeño dressing, grilled tuna steak with wafu sauce and red miso-glazed bone marrow. King crab with Hokkaido lemon butter, fresh salads and seasonal Japanese ingredients also feature across the offering. An open kitchen, sushi counter and grill keep the culinary experience at the centre of the restaurant.

The interiors combine timber, tile and clean modern details, with an island bar serving mixed drinks alongside a wide Japanese beverage selection. Designed as an approachable all-day destination, Noren works for lunch, dinner, bar seating or a more extended dining experience. Its arrival adds another notable independent restaurant to JLT’s growing dining scene.
