Dubai is set to transform its urban landscape into an open-air global art gallery, with new public art installations and galleries across the city. This initiative, led by the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority in collaboration with Dubai Municipality, aims to integrate creativity into public spaces. By strategically placing artworks in key locations, the project will enhance the city’s visual appeal and cultural presence.

Under the agreement, Dubai Culture will determine the number of artworks installed annually, while Dubai Municipality will oversee site selection and coordination with relevant authorities. The project seeks to empower local and international artists, providing them with a larger platform to showcase their work. Through this initiative, Dubai continues to strengthen its creative economy and reinforce its cultural identity.

Aligned with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, this collaboration aims to position the city as a leading global hub for art, culture, and innovation. Public spaces and residential areas will be transformed into dynamic artistic landmarks, enriching the experience of both residents and visitors. With past projects, such as the recent beautification of Satwa, Dubai is committed to creating a vibrant, visually inspiring environment.
