Dubai is now home to the Middle East’s first professional baseball stadium, located within The Sevens sports complex on Al-Ain Road. The 6,500-capacity venue, temporarily named Baseball United Ballpark, is the only professional baseball facility across a vast region stretching from Morocco to India. Developed by Baseball United, the stadium will host three major tournaments over the next year, bringing professional baseball to the region.

Designed to withstand Dubai’s extreme climate, the ballpark features a dual-fiber synthetic playing surface and an advanced LED lighting system producing over 15 million lumens for optimal visibility. Its modular seating allows flexibility for various events, while dimensions are modeled after New York’s Yankee Stadium. Blending tradition and modern technology, the venue includes a classic manual scoreboard alongside a high-tech LED content wall.

Baseball United Chairman and CEO Kash Shaikh emphasized the stadium’s role in growing the sport in the Middle East and South Asia. The venue will debut with the Arab Classic, featuring teams from the UAE, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, and Nepal. A cup competition with former Major League Baseball stars will follow in February, leading up to the region’s first full professional baseball league season.
