Dubai Mall has set another world record, welcoming over 111 million visitors in 2024, surpassing its previous record of 105 million in 2023. This marks the second consecutive year that the mall has exceeded the 100 million visitor milestone, reflecting its continued global appeal. Since 2022, when 88 million visitors passed through its doors, Dubai Mall has seen remarkable growth as one of the world’s most iconic shopping and entertainment destinations.
Spanning 13 million square feet, Dubai Mall is home to over 1,200 retail stores, including Galeries Lafayette and Bloomingdale’s, along with 200+ dining outlets. The mall’s extensive entertainment offerings include the world’s largest shopping mall aquarium, an Olympic-sized ice rink, and a 24-screen cineplex. Recent expansions have introduced a sprawling Chinatown, featuring a massive food hall, luxury spa, and East Asian delicacies, further enhancing its diverse attractions.
Dubai Mall’s growth continues with a Dhs1.5 billion expansion, set to introduce 240 additional luxury retail and dining options. This development aims to solidify its position as the world’s most-visited mall while offering an even greater experience for shoppers and tourists. Visitors should also note that paid parking has been introduced, applying to stays longer than four hours on weekdays and six hours on weekends.
