A new beachfront destination is set to debut in Dubai after summer. J1 Beach Dubai will launch 13 licensed fine-dining concepts in the heart of Jumeirah 1 in October 2024. The 500-meter strip will feature a diverse range of cuisines when the shoreline venues open this year. Here’s everything we know about J1 Beach so far.
An exciting new beach destination is set to launch on the shores of Jumeirah 1, with many new venues coming to Dubai. The area, previously known as La Mer, is being transformed into J1 Beach. This vibrant destination will feature three beach clubs and ten beachfront restaurants, promising an exceptional culinary experience. Developed by the creators of popular locations like City Walk and The Beach, JBR, J1 Beach will offer fine dining by the sea.
Among the venues scheduled to open are the France-born restaurant African Queen, Lebanese fusion concept Almayass by the Sea, the exclusive beach house Tulum-inspired Gitano, Asian-Polynesian eatery Kaimana, and Spanish-Mediterranean venue Lúnico. Additionally, renowned beach clubs Sirene Beach by Gaia, Bâoli, and Gigi Rigolatto will be part of the destination. Guests can also enjoy the ‘Mediterrasian’ concept Sakhalin, fine dining restaurant Mūn, New York-born La Baia, and the African-inspired open fire cooking concept INÁ.
