The destination closes during the hotter summer months before returning each autumn for a new season. Its 30th season ended on May 31, 2026, with the attraction now preparing for Season 31.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An official reopening date for Global Village Season 31 has not yet been announced, but it is expected to return in October 2026. The attraction traditionally opens around the middle of October, making Wednesday, October 14, one of the most likely dates. Wednesday, October 21 is another possible opening date if the new season follows previous scheduling patterns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Global Village first launched in 1996 as a temporary attraction during the Dubai Shopping Festival. It operated at several locations, including Dubai Creek, Dubai Festival City and Oud Metha, before moving to its permanent Dubailand site in 2005.
