From beachside retreats to chic city stays, starting with the most recent additions, Top Spots Dubai has rounded up the ten best new hotels in Dubai.

1. Taj Exotica Resort & Spa The Palm, Palm Jumeirah

Located on the eastern crescent of Palm Jumeirah, the palatial Taj Exotica Resort & Spa The Palm opened its doors to the public in March 2022. The resort with 325 bedrooms and suites as well as a record-breaking 70-meter swimming pool (the longest pool on Palm Jumeirah) and a 230-metre private beach. Offering open sea views in the direction of the Burj Al Arab, the hotel includes a range of dining options both formal and informal including the Indian fine-dining that Taj hotels are known for.

2. Hyatt Centric Jumeirah, La Mer

Situated in the Jumeirah beachside development, La Mer, boutique lifestyle hotel, Hyatt Centric opened in December 2021. Bright, minimalist interiors and an uplifting atmosphere characterise this hotel. Hyatt Centric’s beachfront location is ideal for tourists who want to relax by the beach by day and then shop and dine in the La Mer retail park. Kids can enjoy themselves in La Mer’s Laguna waterpark. A public beach with a jogging track, downtown Dubai, Jumeirah Mosque and the Bur Dubai souks are all within a 10-minute drive from this location.

3. Anantara World Islands Resort Dubai

In December 2021 Anantara World Islands Resort Dubai became the very first resort to open on Dubai’s World Islands’ South American continent. Offering the feeling of an island getaway with the hotel chain’s signature Thai luxury, the resort is just 4-kilometres from mainland Dubai. Guests arrive by boat from Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort, a journey that takes just 15 minutes.

At the moment 70 villas are open to guests, many of which include a private pool. Guests can relax at the beach or in the sizable swimming pool at the centre of the resort as well as at the Anantara Spa. Activities include watersports such as pedalo trips, banana boat rides and jet skis. Dining includes both restaurants and options for al fresco dinners and BBQ on the beach. The bar lounge offers impressive views of Dubai’s skyline.

4. 25hours Hotel Dubai One Central, Trade Centre Dubai

Having opened in December 2021, the 25hours Hotel One Central is rapidly becoming the new hipster hangout. The hotel chain is known for its personality with a fun and young vibe. 25hours Hotel offers excellent downtown Dubai and Museum of the Future views. Guests can browse the 5,000 book library and take in art by local creatives in a setting uplifted by thoughtful interior additions such as vinyl records. There are novel-themed suites and rooms to choose from. Certain bedrooms feature hammocks as well as quirky details like analog phones. The hotel’s Monkey Bar, imported from Berlin, offers an upbeat atmosphere with a live DJ, monkey cages for guests to sit in on the terrace, and a Latin American-inspired menu.

This hotel is a go-to for fine dining with options. Italian restaurant, Duomo, rooftop Peruvian eatery, Inti (which offers excellent Burj Khalifa views) and Paris-inspired Jolie are highlights. The open-air pool offers excellent Dubai skyline views while Thia Skylounge, on the terrace, serves light bites with Burj Khalifa views until late. Head to speakeasy bar, Leon for the atmosphere. Expect the hotel’s signature approach to thoughtful design throughout with art and architecture enlivening the environment.

The Dubai Edition’s location is within walking distance of Dubai Mall, The Dubai Fountains, Burj Khalifa and other downtown Dubai attractions.

6. The Hyde Hotel, Business Bay

American export, Hyde Hotel opened its Dubai address in November 2021. Suites overlook the Dubai Canal and Downtown Dubai city skyline. The lounge area is packed with thoughtful details including fashion books, games and artwork which is available to purchase. Head to the pool or spa for relaxation. Hyde Hotel features several eateries including Hollywood sushi favourite, Katsuya, which has an outdoor terrace.

The hotel is perched by the Dubai Canal, perfect for an evening stroll. Walk a bit further (around 20-mins) and you’ll reach major downtown Dubai attractions.

7. Raffles The Palm, Palm Jumeirah

Raffles is known for its old-world splendour and its latest addition, on the west crescent of Palm Jumeirah, follows suit. The address opened in October 2021 promising guests superior luxury. Guests can book rooms, suites or villas, each includes access to Raffles’ famed butler service. Guests staying in the Club Rooms and Suites can access the Raffles Club Lounge for dining with full views of the Dubai skyline. There are eight new dining options and bars inside the hotel for all guests to pick from. Al fresco Piatti by the Beach is recommended, the eatery transports guests to the Italian Amalfi Coast. 8. St.Regis The Palm, Palm Jumeirah

May 2021 saw the opening of the St.Regis The Palm situated on the trunk of Palm Jumeirah close to Nakheel Mall. Situated inside the 52-floor Palm Tower, the St. Regis The Palm includes both rooms and suites that reveal excellent views of the sea and skyline.

Pick between the hotel’s two infinity pools or head to the sand and the St. Regis Beach Club. Guests can pamper themselves at the St. Regis Spa or by utilising the hotel’s butler service. Infinity pool, Aura Sky Pool, offers 360-degree panoramic views from 200 metres above the ground. The slick SLS hotel located in Dubai’s Business Bay district opened in April 2021. At 75 floors high, stay here for some of the best 360-degree city panoramas. Guests can take in the Burj Khalifa and Downtown Dubai skyline from one of the two rooftop infinity pools (an excellent spot for sundowners with a view). Rooms were designed by famed interior designer Paul Bishop. The hotel attracts a young and fun-loving crowd with its 75th-floor nightlife venue, Privilege and S Bar. There are several impressive dining options including the 12 Chairs Caviar Bar, Fi’lia and Carna by Dario Cecchini.

The SLS Dubai hotel is located within a 10-minute drive from major downtown Dubai attractions including Burj Khalifa, The Dubai Fountains and The Dubai Mall.

10. The Address Beach Resort, JBR

Situated in JBR close to Bluewaters Island, Dubai Marina, and JBR, The Address Beach Resort opened towards the end of 2020. The 77-story hotel is spread between two towers, that are joined by the world’s tallest inhabited sky bridge. This hotel encloses another Dubai world-record breaker – the “world’s highest infinity pool”. The rooftop infinity pool and pool bar, ZETA Seventy Seven, offers some of the most spectacular city views (especially during sunset) overlooking Bluewaters Island, Dubai Marina, Ain Dubai, and the Palm Jumeirah. We recommend booking one of the floating breakfast or dinner experiences where dishes are served from trays floating in the pool.

There are also both adult-only and family-friendly pools in this hotel as well as the Address’ signature Spa (which also offers impressive views). Head to The Beach Grill, for beachside dining.
