1. Atlantis The Royal, Palm Jumeirah
Scheduled Opening Date: March 2023
This grand resort will feature no less than 90 swimming pools and a host of dining concepts by celebrity chefs including Heston Blumenthal amongst others. Foodies will also appreciate Nobu by the Beach, a first-of-its-kind concept by celebrated chef, Nobu Matsuhisa. Interiors feature contributions from a host of artists that have added bespoke touches to each residence. Rooms enjoy both sea and Palm Island views.
2. Jumeirah Masra Al Arab, Umm Sequim
Scheduled Opening Date: 2023
The Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab hotel will join the Jumeirah Group’s existing properties in Umm Sequim – the Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Madinat Jumeirah, and Jumeirah Al Naseem – contributing to one vast, interconnected complex. The luxurious address takes its architectural influence from a superyacht. Some of the rooms feature private gardens while guests can also relax in dedicated wellness areas. A total of ten dining concepts will be led by a collection of leading international chefs.
3. Ciel Hotel, Dubai Marina
Scheduled Opening Date: 2023
At 365 metres tall, Ciel Hotel is pegged to take the title of the world’s tallest hotel in 2023. The London-based architectural firm, NORR, is behind the impressive 82-floor structure that will offer guests the chance to take in 360-degree views from a glass observation deck.
4. Five Luxe, JBR
Scheduled Opening Date: 2023
Five’s latest hotel offering in JBR will feature no less than seven dining and entertainment venues as well as a private beach, pool and spa. The U-Shaped structure that shares similarities with the hotel’s Palm counterpart will feature 227 suites as well as 102 residence apartments.
5. Address Grand Creek Harbour, Dubai Creek Harbour
Scheduled Opening Date: November 2022
This two-tower hotel and residence is the latest addition to the rapidly expanding Dubai Creek Harbour, set to become one of the city’s new social hubs. At Address Grand Creek Harbour guests can expect the brand’s signature concepts such as ‘The Spa at Address’ as well as a selection of new, soon-to-be-announced, dining concepts and bars.
6. The Lana Hotel (Dorchester Collection), Palm Jumeirah
Scheduled Opening Date: July 2023
The Lana Hotel is scheduled to open mid-way through 2023. The ultra-luxurious 30-storey tower is part of the Dorchester Collection and has been designed by the famed architectural firm, Foster + Partners. Chic interiors draw their influence from contemporary city life. Hotel guests can enjoy access to the One at Palm Jumeirah Beach Club which can be accessed via a boat ride.
7. Kempinski Floating Palace, Jumeirah Beach
Scheduled Opening Date: 2023
Guests will arrive at the impressive Kempinski Floating Palace by boat. A central building is surrounded by 12 floating villas designed with the capability to sail to other anchorages. The central hotel will feature a curation of gourmet restaurants and bars, pools, boutiques and a spa. The hotel will feature its own yacht parking deck and floating helipad.
8. Mandarin Oriental Wasl Tower, Sheikh Zayed Road
Scheduled Opening Date: 2023
The impressive Mandarin Oriental Wasl Tower will be spread over 63-floors and will offer guests views over Burj Khalifa and Downtown Dubai. Guests can expect a poolside bar and restaurant, a cigar room, a spa and even a Mandarin Oriental Cake Shop. Head to the rooftop bar for impressive city views and pick between a series of dining concepts pioneered by award-winning chefs.
9. Côte d’Azur, Heart of Europe
Scheduled Opening Date: TBC
The Heart of Europe is a development, spread over six islands, located two miles from Dubai’s shore. Part of this development, ‘Côte d’Azur’ will feature four boutique hotels – Cannes, Nice, Monaco and St. Tropez. Each address takes its name from a hotspot along the French Riviera and will be connected by a 12,000 sq m swimming pool. Properties will enjoy direct beach access as well as wellness centres, spas, games rooms, and dining concepts inspired by Mediterranean living.
10. Vida Dubai Marina & Yacht Club, Dubai Marina
Scheduled Opening Date: December 2022
This chic waterfront address will be a 158-room, pet-friendly hotel and residences. All rooms can enjoy views over the marina and its impressive yachts. Vida Dubai Marina & Yacht Club will take the place of the once-iconic Dubai Marina Yacht Club. The address will feature a gym, pool and spa as well as a selection of new dining concepts. Much like the existing Vida properties, this new addition will be an ideal hub for digital nomads with on-site business facilities and co-working spaces.
